Check out the annual report from our 2014/2015 State league teams Here

The boys from the RIFF came up big in Game 3 of the NSW State League Championship Series to beat Baulkham Hills 2-0 to clinch the best of 3 series 2-1 and claim the clubs first NSW State League Premiership title.

Congratulations to all players for this great victory. Their hard work and determination throughout the entire season has earned the admiration of the entire club.

Congratulations to Head Coach Shane Summersford and his entire coaching staff on a successful 2014/15 State League season. To bring such great success to the club is a testament to the hard work and determination of all coaches and for Shane it is yet another well deserved highlight on his already stellar baseball career as a player and coach.

Thank you to Tattersalls Hotel Penrith for their support as major sponsor this summer season.

Penrith Baseball Club Successful Grant Application
Great news for the club with the Member for Penrith, the Hon. Stuart Ayres MP, attending Baseball training for the U12s last night to deliver a cheque to the club following a successful grant application, which the Executive Committee has been working on over the past few years.
It was a great afternoon with Mr Ayres mingling with the kids and even had a pitch in the bullpen with U12 Panthers catcher Kiegan Harris while he was there.

The purpose of the grant is to redevelop the diamond 2/3 fields to:
* Increase the number of diamonds available for use to help the club accommodate future growth in participant numbers.
* Secure the clubs financial future by becoming eligible to host major tournaments for Baseball NSW, which have proven to be very lucrative for other clubs when run well.
* Create a better size senior diamond at diamond 2 with a longer right field homerun distance (sorry leftys).

This project has been part of the clubs 5 year plan and a focus point for the Penrith Baseball Club Inc Executive Committee for the past 3 years. After several grant applications over the years we were finally delivered the good news that we had been successful in receiving a grant this year to bring the vision of the Executive to life.

Once work commences, the Executive Committee will be working with Penrith Council on scheduling work to be carried out and will try to minimise the effect on games on diamond 2 but there will be inevitable downtime but it will be well worth the hassle in the long run.
